I love watching Tasty videos. When I’m scrolling through Facebook and catch a glimpse of one of their videos, that’s it. I stop everything and dedicate 100% of my concentration to watching a delicious plate of food being made!
I always promise myself I’ll try the recipes for myself. Sometimes I even share it on my wall to “save for later.” Do I go back though? Do I really follow through and recreate these amazing dishes?
Erm, no not really.
I know I can’t be the only one who does that.
However, this video had me thinking to myself “Wow, I want to make that! But I literally have none of that in!” So I took the inspiration and decided to experiment with just FOUR simple ingredients to make something irresistible and moorish for the family!
Did it work?
Oh boy, it worked out better than I could have possibly imagined!
Behold, I give you “Laura’s Cheesy, Scrambled Egg Bites!”
These make breakfast fun for everyone! Not only can you get the kids involved in making these bites, but they are super tempting so you’ll all be fighting over the last one!
These would also make fantastic appetisers or addition to a dinner party. So simple to make too!
Here’s the recipe and step-by-step guide so you can try making these too!
6 Medium Eggs (Whisked)
3 slices of bread (I used white)
100g Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
1 Tsp Parsley (Finely chopped)
Cut off the crusts from the bread and slice into 2”X2” squares.
Place the bread squares into the individual cupcake moulds. These will form a cup shape once cooked.
Sprinkle grated cheese over the bread.
Cover the bread and cheese with the whisked egg and parsley.
Place on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
Gently scoop out the bites and place onto a plate to cool. Then enjoy!
Easy, quick and simply irresistible! If you try out the recipe, let me know how it goes in the comments below.
