Do you remember my NaNoWriMo diary? I tried – and failed – to write every day about my experience writing a 50,000 word novel during the month of November.
I can’t believe that here we are, less than three months later. I’ve published Love Me, Crazy Which has garnered a flurry of excitement and positive reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I get messages from readers asking me about my next book, and it’s been a lot of late nights and blood sweat and tears to get it ready.
Now, here we are! Just days away from the launch of my second book, Love Me, Sweetie.
What is it about?
The story follows Ada, a twenty-four year old, bright-haired, curvy woman living in Swindon. She inherits a struggling sweet shop called “Something Sweet” which has been open since the 1950s.
In strolls cross-fit loving, dark-haired Daniel who keeps a short beard and flashes his straight pearly whites thinking he can charm his way into buying the shop from Ada so he can turn it into a Gluten Free Cafe.
If you love the “Opposites Attract” trope, or storylines that deal with grief, and a hint of “You’ve Got Mail,” you will love this book. It’s light-hearted, warm and has enough plot twists to keep you on your toes.
How is it similar to Love Me, Crazy?
Love Me, Crazy and Love Me, Sweetie are part of a series of sweet romance novels. (Of which there will be five in total) The rules of the series are:
– They have to be clean romance (no sex, swearing or graphic violence)
– The main storyline is romance
– The message “love conquers all” must be clear
How is it different to Love Me, Crazy?
Love Me, Crazy is a romantic thriller/mystery. With thrills and chills, twist and turns and a plot that throws you back and forth until you end up with your heart racing and feeling dizzy! The love story is also a lot more intense and more of a whirlwind.
Love Me, Sweetie is more gentle. A slow-burner romance with a lot more depth to the characters and storyline. You’ll not want to the story to end feeling that you really know these characters. And for the first time, it includes a Poochon puppy called Potato who is a rather big character in the story.
What will the next book be called?
The third instalment in the Love Me, series will be called, “Love Me, Dreamy.” I have started the first chapter, which is extremely exciting. And when I confided in a friend and told her the plot, her eyes widened and she said “I just got goosebumps”
Love Me, Dreamy is a beautiful, thrilling and exciting story that is a perfect blend of Love Me, Crazy and Love Me, Sweetie. The main plot twist is mind-blowing. I’m still recovering from learning it. 😂
I anticipate it will be ready for release in July 2019.
The goal is to complete the entire Love Me, Series by summer 2020.
